AAHA Accreditation
Accreditation of animal hospitals in the United States of America is voluntary. The American Animal Hospital Association creates rigorous quality standards that cover all aspects of veterinary care, from customer service to surgery standards, to cleanliness and more. These standards are developed by experts in the field based on the most up-to-date information in the field of veterinary medicine.
Bethany Animal Hospital is proud to be AAHA accredited and will continue this practice to provide the best care for our patients. To learn more about AAHA, click here.

Fear Free
What is Fear Free, and how will this benefit your pet?
- We have certified Fear Free professionals on staff, and we want you to know that we are dedicated to your pets’ comfort while in the clinic.
- You can check out Fear Free information here or to get some top recommendations to help your pet have a great visit, click here.
- Want to know our top recommendations?
- If your pet is coming for a visit and is not having current stomach issues, bring them hungry! If your pet is food motivated, we have all the goodies here, and they will love getting the extra treats and love from us even more. If your pet has specific treats that you prefer, feel free to bring them along.
- If you feel like your pet has a lot of anxiety, please let us know. We may recommend a PVP (pre-visit pharmaceutical) to help alleviate stress and anxiety while here.
Cat Friendly Practice
We find that cats and cat owners alike are often dreading a visit to the vet. At Bethany Animal Hospital, we are dedicated to creating a more calming environment for cats, clients, and staff. For this reason, we are voluntarily certified as a Cat-Friendly Practice- Silver (CFP) through the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. This certification ensures we are regularly assessing the best practices for felines, and adjusting our practice protocol to create a healthy, happy hospital for cats!
